We proudly initiate our digital release catalog with a trippy and heady 5-track experience by Japanese artist Keita Sano, showcasing his singular and varied tracks made with an uncompromisingly idiosyncratic production technique.
Need Your Cakes EP begins with "Cakes and Tea", a spaced-out club banger with ethereal synth stabs and pads, and the release then makes its way into the smokey, jazz-flavored contortions of "Need Your Scale". Nested warmly in the center of the package, the bright tropical vibes of "WD Edit" make the perfect breeding ground for fresh groove. Things take a much harder turn with the raw distortion bomb "Back To Rhythm", before eventually returning to the scattered percussive jazz dub rhythms of "Need Your Scale".
